The new iPhone is highly awaited at Verizon, and the users are becoming more and more eager to get their hands on the newest product. Well, the waiting period is coming to an end, and it could not be a worse timing for Microsoft, who is about to reveal the Windows Phone 7 just next week.
The launch date for the new iPhone at Verizon will be announced during the Worldwide Developers Conference, which is scheduled for June 7-11. Microsoft will surely grab some headlines with the new Windows Phone 7, but most of the buyers will probably be waiting for the release of new iPhone. The release of the iPhone 4.0 software for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPhone 4G and iPad touch is also expected for this summer, as the spokesperson from Apple has announced.
According to an article posted in the Wall Street Journal as well, not one, but two releases from Apple iPhone are scheduled for this summer. Apart from the Apple Verizon iPhone, there will also be an Apple iPhone 4G. With the iPhone 4G, users will be getting a new firmware update, the iPhone OS 4.0, software which has multi tasking and many, many new features that will make the users extremely satisfied with the product.
Only in the latest quarter, Apple prides in selling approximately 8.4 million phones. The new iPhone for Verizon 2011 uses GSM wireless technology from AT&T, but for the not too far away future, Apple plans to release an iPhone which will work on the CDMA network of Verizon Wireless.
